Day 96: Ember Faith Prayer Countdown

The love of God for mankind reaches far beyond our comprehension. Yet, God gives us the ability to partially understand His love for us through His Word, through people in our lives and through specially orchestrated events in our lives. Today, we pray for Ember to see and understand the love of God.

Oh God, You have revealed Your love to us in so many ways, and we recognize that in answering our prayer for a child, You have, yet again, shown us the depth of Your love for us. We are so grateful! We pray that You would empower us to love Ember in such a way that she would began to understand Your love. May You surround her with evidence of Your love everyday of her life. Help her to see Your love in the pages of the Bible, in every sunrise and sunset, in the people that she meets, and in the very breath that she breathes. Help her to grow in the knowledge and understanding of Your love everyday. Let Your love be the very thing that comforts and satisfies her. 

May this verse become very real to her:

The Lord your God is in your midst,

    a mighty one who will save;

he will rejoice over you with gladness;

    he will quiet you by his love;

he will exult over you with loud singing.

                                                Zephaniah 3:17 ESV

Keep our sweet daughter covered by a blanket of Your never-ending love, and help us, as her parents, to always show Your unconditional love to her. This we pray as we joyfully await the arrival of our precious Ember Faith.
